Sara's Woods

Hauntings fascinate me! I live on 7th Avenue in Alpha, NJ - the infamous spot where psychic energies converged at the turn of the century. These energies are well known for hosting paranormal visions, and hauntings.

Many web threads have been dedicated to the study of Alpha, but none seem to cover the true nature of this place. Spiritual practices feel more satisfying when done in these woods. Divination completed in the woods provides more answers than when done elsewhere. Studies have found even the weather to be different here - we have more mini tornadoes than any other location on the East Coast!

I personally find the story of Sara to be a strange reflection of our world, as it becomes colder each decade and as people distance themselves from the horrors around them. If you are not familiar with Sara, she was the little girl who spoke with spirits in the woods of Alpha, NJ. She wandered along the train tracks behind 7th Avenue, and met her own demise when climbing rocks - she fell and was not recovered until days after her injury. By then it was too late.

Many residents here talk of "hearing things" and "seeing things"...we do not know what or why but we often think of Sara and the stories of the horrible way she died, alone in the woods and in the cold.

I would like to ask a question: Do you believe in the thinly veiled world of magical energies that wraps all around us, like a spiritual blanket? Some cultures base their religious practices on the spirit world, such as the Native Americans, and those involved in Wicca.

There is a psychic link between our own world and another that is of a magical nature! I find it to be enticing, and I dream of a day when I may enter it. But how? I have been studying local "hauntings" associated with psychic energy, and I search for others who may understand. Please tell me, what do YOU think of hauntings? Do you believe in ghosts? Have you seen a spirit? I would love to know!!

Blessings, and joy to you and yours
